Abby Sagun

INSTRUCTOR

Abby is super excited to be teaching with the Kickit Dance Studio team again this year. She started dancing Hip Hop at the age of 14 on her high school dance team, Garden City Reality Check. She started choreographing when the team started in 2007. Abby started her professional dance career at the age of ​16 dancing with UN1TE Dance Company. She danced with UN1TE for 3 years, travelling with the company to Edmonton for competitions like "Artists Emerge." She had the privilege to choreograph for the company in 2013-2014 and teach classes for the company's summer workshops. After graduating from Garden City in 2011, Abby volunteered her time coaching and choreographing the dance team that she help start. Abby is currently dancing for SIKAT Dance Company. She has traveled to San Diego with them to compete at World of Dance San Diego, placing 4th in their category. They also competed in "Peg City Movement" dance competition winning 1st place. Abby continues to coach and choreograph for Garden City and is looking forward to sharing her wisdom and passion down to the new and up coming generation of talented dancers at Kickit Dance Studio.
