Aisha has pursued her love and passion for dance from the age of three years old. Her journey as a dancer began at Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, where she trained in the Intensive Training Program as well as the Invitational Competitive Program. It was at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet that Aisha embraced the opportunity to explore and train in the dance genres of Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Spanish, Tap, and Musical Theatre. During her time at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Aisha successfully completed numerous Cecchetti examinations. Aisha has participated in summer intensives such as the Rock School of Dance Education in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the Ballet Summer Intensive Training Program. After nine years of training at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Aisha moved on to pursue further dance training with Kickit Dance Studio. During this time Aisha continued her studies in multiple disciplines such as Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Bollywood. Over the years Aisha participated in many conventions and competitions such as Manitoba Provincial Dance Festival, 5678 Showtime, Thunderstruck, Extreme Dance Convention, a guest performer at RWB satellite recitals, Canadian National Dance Championships, CanDance, In The Zone, and The View Dance Challenge. She has received many awards and has been recognized for her talent at competitions. In the fall of 2016 Aisha joined Koba Entertainment and began performing across Canada and the United States. In 2017 Aisha danced and acted in the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy in Koba’s production of “Max and Ruby the Nutcracker Suite and as Oona in “Bubble Guppies Live Ready to Rock”. In the winter and spring of 2018 Aisha toured through the United States and Canada as a dancer and puppeteer in the musical production of “Shopkin’s Live Shop it Up”.

 

Aisha is very excited to be teaching at Kickit and to be a part of the amazing Kickit family. Aisha can’t wait to share her love of dance with her students.
