Ella Kehler

INSTRUCTOR

Ella started dancing at the age of 2 and began her journey at Kickit Dance Studio at the age of 5. Throughout her time at the studio, Ella has trained in various styles including contemporary, jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical, hip hop, and acro.

Ella is a part of Kickit’s competitive program and has been lucky enough to compete at competitions both locally and across Canada including in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario. Throughout these competitions, she has been recognized with scholarships, overalls, and special awards both individually and as part of a group.

Ella’s passion for dance has led her to many additional training opportunities, including attending conventions such as JUMP, NUVO, and RME, as well as assisting at SOL Dance Convention this past summer. She has furthered her training through summer intensives with Ballets Jazz Montréal and Ballet BC. She has also been given the opportunity to perform in local events/shows including SIKAT’s “Coalescence”, Winnipeg 150 Showcase, and the Teddy Bear Picnic.

Ella considers Kickit Dance Studio her second home. She has been so lucky to grow up surrounded by such a supportive and positive community of teachers, staff, and fellow dancers. After so many years as a student at Kickit, she is so excited to now share her love and knowledge of dance with her students this year!
