Madeline Garcia

INSTRUCTOR

Madeline is very excited to return to Kickit staff this year! Her love for dance began at the age of 3, and since then she has trained in numerous disciplines including jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, bollywood, and musical theater. As a competitive dancer, she has been recognized through special awards and overalls at a number of competitions including Artists Emerge, Canadian National Dance Championships, The View Dance Challenge, Candance, Fever Dance Championships, Dance Canada, Manitoba Dance Festival, and more.

Madeline's passion for dance has led her to many opportunities, including performing in local commercials, dancing in music videos, performing in a Manitoba Bison's halftime show at the Investors Group Field, being in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2017 Canada Games performances, and being a backup dancer for the Mini Pop Kids. Madeline is a member of the Winnipeg based pre-professional Tap Dance company, Language of Rhythm, as well as a member of SIKAT dance company training in hip hop. Outside

of Kickit, Madeline studies Kinesiology at the University of Manitoba, and instructs Lagree at The Fitual! Madeline is thrilled to share her love and knowledge of dance with her students, and can't wait to see what this year brings.
