Robyn Anderson
INSTRUCTOR
Robyn is an accomplished dancer, choreographer and educator whose career spans over the past decade. After 15 years on Vancouver Island, she’s returned to her hometown of Winnipeg to continue sharing her passion for dance and movement education.
Before relocating to the West Coast in 2009, Robyn established herself as a competitive dancer in Winnipeg, where she honed her skills for many years. During her time in British Columbia, Robyn focused on teaching and choreographing across a variety of genres, including contemporary, jazz, acro, lyrical, street stilettos and street jazz. Her work garnered numerous choreographic awards, and she had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most talented dancers and instructors across the Island and Greater Vancouver area.
In addition to her extensive teaching experience, Robyn completed an intensive training program at the prestigious Broadway Dance Center in New York, where she refined her craft under the guidance of world-renowned professionals.
Robyn recently expanded her expertise by completing an 850-hour Pilates Teacher Training Program, earning her Classical Pilates Certification in both mat and equipment at Pilates from the Center in North Vancouver. By integrating her extensive dance background with her deep understanding of Pilates, Robyn is uniquely equipped to help dancers of all ages and skill levels reach their full potential, both in their artistry and physical health.
Now back in Winnipeg, she is thrilled to return to her roots and continue her work at her home studio, Kickit Dance Studio, where she is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of dancers.
