
Sara St. Godard
INSTRUCTOR
Sara (she/her/hers) is a Red River Métis (Michif) educator from Treaty 1 territory, the heart of the Métis Nation. Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, Bachelor of Education degree and Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Education from the University of Winnipeg. Sara is a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor (Modules 1 and 2) and has completed the Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers certification in both Jazz and Tap. In addition, through the Royal Conservatory of Music, Sara has completed her Grade 8 Piano and Theory examinations.
Over the past twenty years Sara’s choreography has won many awards and titles throughout Canada and the United States. Sara’s students have been the recipients of many scholarships that have provided opportunities to travel abroad and study in post-secondary settings.Sara feels the greatest reward watching her students develop as artists and work outside of their comfort zones. She acknowledges the privilege of having the arts in her life and recognizes what a gift it is to share her passion and knowledge with her students.
