Sofia Bristow

INSTRUCTOR

Sofia began dancing at the age of three before spending 10 years in competitive gymnastics, where she earned several overall placements and Sportsmanship Awards. At 13, she returned to dance and has since trained in ballet, jazz, acro, and contemporary.

She holds a certification for teaching young gymnasts as well as Module One of the Acrobatic Arts program, both of which have strengthened her foundation and teaching skills.

Through competitive dance, Sofia has had the opportunity to perform at events such as The View Dance Challenge, Candance, CNDC, and On the Floor. She has received scholarships, special awards, and overall placements for her contemporary, lyrical, and acro solos. In 2025, she competed at CanDance Nationals in Ottawa, where her contemporary solo placed in the top twenty as a Title Soloist.

Dance has given Sofia the chance to grow as both a performer and a teammate, while also building lifelong friendships and being part of a supportive community. She is excited to share her love of dance and acro with her students and is grateful to be part of the Kickit family.
