Claire Morton

Claire has been dancing with Kickit Dance Studio since 2015, making it her 10th year with the studio. She has been in the competitive program for nine years, and has loved every second of it. Kickit has given her the opportunity to be trained in various styles including Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Ballet, Pointe, Tap,  Modern, Musical Theatre and Bollywood. Claire has competed in countless competitions such as CanDance, Canadian National Dance Championships, The View Dance Challenge, Manitoba Dance Festival, Dance Canada and Fever

Dance Championships. She has been recognized and awarded at these competitions with scholarships such as NUVO, 24 Seven, CanDance and Sol Dance Collective. Claire has had the opportunity to perform as a backup dancer for the Mini Pop Kids along with being a guest performer in the annual Manitoba Chinese Business Gala. She has also had the honour of performing in the Skylines Dance & Film festival this fall, sharing her dedication and excitement for dance with a live audience. With loving support from the Kickit community, Claire’s passion for dance is fueled everyday. The members of the studio are like a second family to her. Dancing has become Claire’s passion and she has learned that she can not live without it. She continues to dance and train regularly with the Advanced Competitive Team and is excited to see where her future with dance goes. This is Claire’s second year on Kickit staff and she is thrilled to share her love, passion and knowledge of dance with her students, and watch them grow as dancers!
